How RARAOMT handles your data.

This statement covers what RARAOMT collects when you visit the site, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Plain English on purpose. If anything in here is unclear, the email at the bottom of every page goes to a real person.
1. Who is responsible
The platform is operated from 11783 Rue Ontario E, Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC H1B 1K6, Canada. Questions about data go to [email protected]. There is no separate Data Protection Officer; queries land in the same inbox as everything else and are answered by a member of the small operating team.
2. What we collect
Three buckets. First: technical data your browser sends automatically — IP address, user agent, screen size, referring URL. We need this to serve the page and keep the site working. Second: a points balance for RacingMOTO, stored against a session token in your own browser's local storage; nothing tied to your real-world identity. Third: your 18+ confirmation and your cookie preference, again stored locally so we don't pester you on every reload.
We do not collect names, postal addresses, payment cards, government IDs, biometrics or location at street level. There is no account creation flow. There is no email signup. We don't link your visits across devices because we have nothing to link them with.
3. Why we collect it
Strictly to operate and protect the site. Technical logs help us spot abuse, debug errors and meet the hosting provider's basic obligations. The points and consent state are functional — without them you'd hit the age gate every page load. We do not build behavioural profiles. We do not sell, rent or trade data with anyone, including marketing partners or advertising networks.
4. Cookies and storage
A short list lives on the cookies policy page (cookie-policy.php). Summary: a strictly necessary session cookie, a localStorage flag for the age gate, a localStorage flag for the cookie banner choice itself. No advertising or analytics trackers run on this domain at the time of writing.
5. How long we keep things
Server access logs are retained for 30 days then rotated out. Local storage entries on your device live until you clear your browser data, or until the gate state ages out at our discretion. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it remains useful for support — typically not more than 24 months, and sooner if you ask us to delete it.
6. Your rights
Under Canadian PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25 and (for visitors in scope) GDPR, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to file a complaint with a regulator. Send the request to [email protected] with enough detail to identify the data in question. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
7. Children
RARAOMT is not directed at people under 18 and the age gate exists for that reason. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a minor used the site, contact us and we will purge any associated session data without conditions.
8. Updates
This page changes when the platform changes. The revision date at the top reflects the most recent edit. Material changes will be flagged on the home page for at least seven days before they take effect.
